About the series
Every year, over 200,000 teens give birth in America. Nine Months profiles the journeys of six girls between the ages of 14 and 19 as they find themselves pregnant. What will they choose among their options—abortion, adoption and motherhood? Their decisions will change the course of theirs and others lives and perhaps shatter families. While the stories take place all over the country—from Florida to California—the girls find solace online.
Book 1: Candace is a 17-year old high school senior who has it all figured out. She attends St. Paul’s, an exclusive prep school in Concord, New Hampshire, and is on her way to Princeton the next fall. However, when she falls for exchange student Danilo, her orderly life is changed forever. At the end of her senior year, Candace finds out she is pregnant and is forced to postpone college for a year. She decides to keep her baby without telling Danilo and moves back home and takes a job as a waitress. As her younger sister prepares to leave for college, Candace reflects on the twisting labyrinth of choices she had made. Available at Amazon.
